I wanted to ask her to a second date but she didn't feel the same spark. She was nice enough to email me and say no thanks lets just be friends. I'm a nice guy by heart so should I reply and say sure no problem? Am I losing my self respect here?

both my sister and I refused to date guys because we just wanted to be friends with them instead. She is married to hers, and I am engaged to mine.
Being friends is not a bad thing.

You are not losing your self respect. I say play it cool, and say no problem. Think about how many ladies have had feelings for you, but is wasn't mutual. She isn't worth your time. Let it go, and find someone better. If you want, carry on a friendship, if its to wierd, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

You won't lose self respect when you do that. Instead it will make you feel more human for you know deep in your heart that when you replied "sure no problem", you mean it.

No, you will not lose your self-respect by e-mailing her and saying, " no problem and add that you would really like to be friends with her". Who knows maybe somewhere down the road it may develop into something else.
But for now I would respect her wishes and not push it.

Like the saying its more fish in the sea, or u can be friends with her and start getting really close to her and then she will slowly began to want u.So just wait if u think she is the one or just move on.

be friends, you enjoyed yourself with her and she must of had some fun with you. for some reason she did not see a spark but she saw someone she wanted to be friends with
