Im 14 and i weigh almost 130 pounds! i've tried all sorts of diets and excercise plans but it's not working. i want to be slim and sexy september. any ideas?

It's summer. Get active. Walk, swim, bike, whatever. Don't focus on weight. Try to build some muscle, which raises your metabolism. Focus on being active and healthy. Make sure to include a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables in your diet while avoiding empty carbohydrates. Eat lean protein, like white turkey or chicken. Eat yogurt. Don't drink sugared sodas. If you make physical activity and important part of your life, you will feel better and look sexier, even if you don't lose a lot of weight.

The Promise:

In 2 1/2 months you should lose 52 pounds. I'm not sure if this promise is accurate, and I haven't tried this diet, it seems a little odd though, but who knows, maybe just read this one and laugh at it.

The Rules:

You must drink eight 8oz. glasses of water daily (64 oz. total per day).
At any meal you may eat until you are full.
You must eat the minimum listed at each meal. (yep, this diet list the minimum you should eat).
You cannot eliminate anything from the diet. Especially the bacon at breakfast and the salads. You must eat the bacon and salads. These combinations of food burn the fat, omitting one part of the combination will cause the whole thing not to work.
The grapefruit or fruit juice is important because it acts as a catalyst that starts the burning process. Don't add or reduce the amount of grapefruit or juice.
Cut down on coffee, it affects the insulin balance that hinders the burning process. Try to limit to 1 cup at meal time.
Don't eat between meals. If you eat the suggested foods you will not get hungry.
You can fry food in butter and use butter generously on vegetables.
Do not eat desserts, breads, and white vegetables or sweet potatoes.
You may double or triple helpings of meat, salad or vegetables.
Eat until you are stuffed. The more you eat the more weight you will lose.
Stay on the diet 12 days, then stop the diet for 2 days and repeat.
Diet Plan:

Breakfast:
Either 1/2 grapefruit OR 8 oz. juice (unsweetened)
2 eggs any style
2 slices of bacon
Lunch:
Either 1/2 grapefruit OR 8 oz. juice (unsweetened)
Salad with any dressing
Meat any style and any amount.
Dinner:
Either 1/2 grapefruit OR 8 oz. juice (unsweetened)
Salad with any dressing OR a red or green vegetable cooked in butter or spices.
Meat or even Fish any style cooked any way.
Coffee or Tea (1 cup)
Bedtime Snack:
8oz. glass of tomato juice or 8 oz cup of skim milk

I use to weigh exactly the same weight and im 14 too but recently i've lost 6 pounds (so far) thanx to excersie(my abs look great!!) and healthy eating habits. Just do crunches and, like when ur lying down-to the side-move ur feet up and down-slowly- thats for the thighs for the oblinges the waist,or the things that look like this ) ( watcha do is you lay down, face-up bring your knees in and try to touch the opisite leg with your elbows. Try to eat a balance of foods that are good for you.Don't give into the diet craze cuz you'll just gain the weight right back. If you want the diet to work stick with it and try to lose 2 pounds a week that way you'll be healthy! And personally there's nothing wrong with being 130 but i understand watcha mean like everyone wants to have that perfect figure- abs,thighs,stomach. But if you do these excercises for like 30-45 minutes a day you'll be slimmer just in time for school.

i'm no nutritionist but this is what i would do [and i do, and i am thin and healthy and 15 years old. not saying it works for everyone but i thought i'd share it anyways]:
eat a diet of 80% fruits and veggies and the rest meats and grains. cut out dairy and sugar as much as you can or can handle, icecream is my weakness. then get some supplements. just vitamins. get ones that say they are chelated. whole foods would probably have some. chelated means that that there is a certain amino acid attatched that enables your body to use it. those vitamins don't give you a stomache ache if taken before eating. once your body is getting what it needs and not getting what it doesn't need you could easily start losing weight. by the way, you aren't fat! it has a lot to do with height too. PLEASE don't become aenorexic or belimic! SO bad for you! Eat right and healthy and drinke enough water and everything should go fine. oh! and cut out soda!!!! soda is so bad for you! it's like fat in a can along with cancer added; no joke.
then i would try finding something you love to do that you can do without getting bored or tired. for me i work with my horse and swim almost everyday. what is available for you? do you have a pool in the area that you could get a summer pass for? how about a theme park you could get a pass to? i would do something everyday that you like and that's fun but it involves moving around.

please don't take my advice without looking around to see what's there. i am just telling you what works for me and what seems logical.

You never said how tall you are. I suggest going to a doctor and finding out whether you actually need to lose weight, and which diet would suit you best, since you are still growing, and need the vitamins and minerals that you would have to forfeit in most diets. by the way, 130 lbs is only considered fat if you are less than 5'2" tall

You don't say how tall you are but if you cut down on your sugar and salt intakes, eat more protein rich foods and eat dairy products in moderation then this will help a lot. Also, drink at least a gallon of water a day, no soda or sweet ice tea and do some brisk walking of at least 2 miles a day.

haha girl we got the same problem. im a guy thats 14 and im 6'0' and weighs 170 lbs.! But my tummy doesnt stick out so i dont look fat but i still feel fat.(i suppose its good im big considering im a football player) right now im trying kinda getting used to not eating so much every day but dont starve yourself. Run everday in the morning and be active and try to eat vegetables and fruits instead of other foods. stay away from bread. hope it helps!

Start walking every day for half hour first slow and then fast . You will loose weight I did. For get about the diet. Just eat right.

Yeah go see a professional nutritionist and exercise physiologist. They can help you slim down if your weight is unhealthy. Chances are that you are making some mistakes with your other diet and exercise programs.

well your only 14 so let your body do its thing cuz when puberty really starts to kick in your body should even out. But if your really concerned i guess a proper diet and daily exercise should help you.
