OK the first thing NOT TO DO is to throw up. For those idiots out there giving medical advice without training, inducing vomiting after swallowing a hydrocarbon can be worse, fatal in some cases. If it goes to your lungs, then that can cause really big problems.
Second, call your local poison control center.
Small amounts of gasoline ingestion is not lethal, but you should call the PCC and go to the emergency room.

DO NOT induce vomiting. Oil-based products cause chemical burns to the structures of the digestive system. Go immediately to the nearest Emergency Room. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. And for god's sake, don't smoke while you are going there...
In all seriousness, DO NOT induce vomiting. Go immediately to the nearest Emergency Room. Gasoline can seriously burn your esophagus and stomach. A nasogastric tube will need to be inserted and your stomach will need to be pumped

My husband accidently did this and poison control and the hospital all said he would just burp up the gasoline taste for a day or so and he did. It was just one of those crazy things that happens. You do need to call this in and hopefully have by now. You logged this in several hours ago. If you did not call, call now.

If you accidentally swallowed it, we'll assume it was a small amount. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! It causes more damage coming back up than it did going down. Drink milk only. Anytime you ingest a caustic substance, call your poison control center. Never take anything for granted.

DON'T STAND BY AN OPEN FLAME!!!! And I'm not sure if you are supposed to vomit or not. Sypholing gas can cause one to swallow some. I think it won't hurt you. I am not sure. You might want to call for a dr's oppinion.
