A bar way worse than online that is where I met my girlfriend she met her ex at a bar. Online is a good way to meet someone if you are not suave.

I met my x at the bar... dance club in other words. she ended up being a bar rat... which means she can only do that for fun.. instead of being happy going to the movies or something else on a weekend night.

I would guess either the internet or a bar because some people aren't who they say they are and in a bar people would too drunk or some or too shallow.
