Dude, these are called WarCats and they are used all the time in wars already. Do you mean to tell me you did not know this? How can this be? Giant WarCats have been used a lot in Africa over the past 20 years, they have the ability to get through the thickest jungle and can see very well in the dark. God would approve of them because they have slogans written on them in the local dialects including "Allah is On Our Side."

those cats would probably dislike being used for war (fired out of cannons and the like)
therefore
God would not like it
If your thinking about animal weapons, have you considered sky sharks?
or a snake launcher, they could be curled up for storage and then shot into enemy trenches. VERY effective.

Cloned dogs would be OK.
Unless you are Muslim, in which no carnivour is acceptable, though there are a lot of possibilities for genetically engineered "Goats of War"
