I think I heard that vinegar will neutralize a fire ant sting/bite, meaning it will stop the burning and pain. If this is true true, does vinegar also work on ichy mosquito bites?

yes it does it has been tested on my 10 yr old nephew ...and it works ..we were on vacation

Mosquito bites no longer stings. To Y/A questions some answer ideal.they are like mosquitoes which choose blood. Others basically stray for the two to get 2 factors or answer irrelevantly with obscene words.they are like ants. Biting with a reason and biting and not making use of a reason.

I'm not sure about vinegar but my mother-in-law spots bleach on bee/wasp stings and that kills the pain.

Rubbing alcohol works great for stopping the burn and pain. I've also heard bleach will do the same thing.

Ant sting is acidic - get something alkaline like lime water
