The unforgivable sin is to worship anyone or anything other than your Creator. We are all born as babies to know better, but some turn to idles and that which God created to worship, instead of having true faith in the unseen world, they prefer to praise what they can see.
Those whom they invoke besides God/Allâh have not created anything, but are themselves created. [The Noble Qur'an 16:20]

According to the New Testament the only unforgiveable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. All other sins, even those that directly revile the Son of God will be forgiven in Christ.

Well suicide is supposed to be, or denying God's existence/blaspheming against Him and not repenting before death, but I think if there is good intention behind either (or a better intention in something else to outweigh the 'sin') then forgiveness is obtainable. To me, sin isn't action, it's intent. For example, a man kills somebody innocent and it's called homicide, a man kills an enemy in a war and it's called heroic. It's all about intent, does the good intent outweigh the dark sin? Ultimately, who are we to judge each other? I'm an atheist and try to avoid judgment as much as possible, I don't think of myself as a god amongst mere mortals like some may.

Mark 3:22-30 states
"And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, 'He has Beelzebub,' and, 'By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons.' ...'Assuredly, I [Jesus] say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation;' because they said, 'He has an unclean spirit'"
In Matthew 12:31-32, Jesus says to the Pharisees,
"Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come" ).

The only sin which can't be forgiven is the sin never confessed. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is just that, refusing God's forgiveness.

The answer definitely differs with every person's faith. According to Islam, it is associating anyone with Allah (God). As in saying that he has a father or has children or there are other beings equal to him. This is an unforgivable sin in Islam.
