What about Death? I have not found anything satisfactory on the subject, except the teachings of Adi Da Samraj

Has anyone heard of him? Are his teachings more similar to Hinduism or Buddism or original? Its the only really good stuff I have found and have looked at everything on death. Why isnt there more quality, practical and spiritual advice on death out there? Can you recommend anything? How do you feel about death?

i used to be afraid of dyeing. i used to think that death of a loved one would be the end of my spark. i see death as something you do not get to choose. you have a set time and day pre picked for you. i believe in God, through my experiences in life i know he has a plan.. it never makes since when its happening but its always reveled. the hardest thing is to go through it with faith and believe this to will pass. there is always a lesson and a reason, and blessings in disguise.. the bible talks about heaven.. i for one hope to see those that i have loved again, i like to believe our souls will meet again .. especially with those people that pass through your life where the connection is immediate...like a "soul sister or brother" what ever Ive gone on a crazy tangent...i am a "christian" that's in quotation because i don't follow church, i wasn't raised that way, and I'm not a lunatic.. just a person who was lost, and saved. and i know the truth and can no longer run from it. it brings me peace, and i just no longer fear death..

Try "Preparations for Death" by Alphonsus Liguori. He was a lawyer turned priest, then bishop. He retired and wrote many theological and ascetical works, he was also a poet and musician. He's one of only a few official Doctors of the Catholic Church. The book is pretty intense and very morbid, but effective.

DEATH AND HELL

Psa.23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the SHADOW of death, I will fear no evil: for
Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

Flesh death of the body is a SHADOW of death, a silhouette or likeness of the second death.

Heb.9:27 And as it is appointed unto men ONCE to die, but after this the judgment:

If you are already dead why then after this the judgment?

Matt.10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather
fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Fear (revere) God Who can destroy both soul and spiritual body, that is second death.

I Cor.15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and
there is a spiritual body.

There is a flesh body and a spiritual body.

II Cor.5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: II Cor.5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) II Cor.5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Absent from the flesh body, present with the Lord.

Ecc.12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. Ecc.12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God Who gave it.

The spiritual body and soul return to God.

I Cor.15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall
have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is
swallowed up in victory.

The second death is what Christ paid the price for. Until the mortal puts on immortality he is still considered dead or liable to die the second death.

Ezek.18:4 Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

All souls are God’s. The verdict for sin is the second death.

Heb.2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

God through flesh death paid the price for the second death. Satan already sentenced to the second death has been defeated. Satan can’t say we deserve the same verdict.

Rev.2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that
overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Those who overcome Satan become immortal, the first resurrection.

Rev.20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

The rest of the dead, that is mortal souls, missed the first resurrection, that is immortality, until the thousand years are finished.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

A thousand years, a time of teaching by those who had part in the first resurrection.

Rev.20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Rev.20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

The dead, that is mortal souls.

Rev.20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Rev.20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Don’t read over that. Death, that is Satan, and hell, that is separation from God, were cast into the lake fire, the second death.

Rev.20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The second death.

DEATH 101
Death of a Human Being:
1. The Spiritman (real YOU) come's out of his,her Body(Physical) and the Body fall's over on the ground. NOW you (a Spiritman) are completely in the Spiritual REALM and can see the Angel's around you. (Human BODY shield's our eye's while were in it)
2. The Spiritman (you,after you came out of your body) did not get Born-Again befor you left your Body for GOOD. YOU did not let JESUS SAVE YOU (RECREATE you, a Spiritman) befor you came- out, JESUS(GOD) does not FLOW though YOU, you are alive( a Spiritman) but you do not have ETERNAL LIFE (JESUS, GOD ALMIGHTY) flowing through you, you are DEAD. And you were DEAD all the time you were on the EARTH walking around doing thing's cept' ASKING JESUS to SAVE YOU, which woulda' let JESUS into your HEART (Spiritman) and then when you came out of your Body for GOOD, you could a gone on to HEAVEN.
But your DEAD SPIRITUALLY, befor you left (DEATH) for good, and now JESUS has no other place to keep you till the LAKE of FIRE thing, cept' HELL, which was made for all of the DEAD ANGEL's that were kicked out of GOD's KINGDOM, and became SPIRITUALLY DEAD (GOD not flowing through them). When you get Born-Again, you are automatically TRANSLATED into HIS KINGDOM (GOD flowing through you) and you become alive SPIRITUALLY (cause HE's a flowing through you) but your still on the EARTH PHYSICALLY, but your in HIS KINGDOM SPIRITUALLY. Simple, isn't it?????? Ditto!!!!!!!
