Proving the bible is truth is like proving that Julius Ceasar existed. You can't go back in time to see whether or not he was an actual dude, or whether he was made up to keep Europe happy with togas and pizza. However, you can read about him and what he did. That doesn't mean that this is a 'proof' as such, but is very strong evidence to suggest that he was factual.
Same with the bible. The evidence is there, but it depends on how far you want your proof to go. There is lots of evidence that points to the bible being historically accurate (read Josh McDowell's 'Evidence that demands a verdict' for a more detailed view), but again, this is not a proof (which requires a scientifically observable and repeatable process (which history is not)). But, in absence of evidence in the contrary, written historical documents are the most reliable recording of history that we have. Now as for truth, well that is a philosophical question.

A) What do you want to prove?
1 The Bible is a factual historical document?
2: The Bible is a factual theological document?
B) What evidence will you accept as proof?
#####
The only significant event in the Tanakh, that does not have supporting archeological evidence, is the Egyptian slavery, and subsequent exodus. As it, there is some interesting archeological evidence supporting Exodus 14, in the territorial wters of Saudi Arabia, and the Arabian Desert.
In the New Testament, The debate revolves around:
i) Whether Jesus lived;
ii) If He was an actual person, did He physically die on the cross;
iii) If He was ressurected;
There is very little documentary evidence supporting Jesus' physical existence, outside of the Gospels. The references made by Rabbinical Judaism, about why they crucified him, probably were not interpolations by Christian Apologists. This is a tenuous proof, but since those Rabbis were hostile witnesses, their testimony carries far more weight than the Christian witnesses do.
If he was crucified, he would have died. The only thing that favour of not dying, was the short period of time he was on the cross. [Six to eight
hours.] The soldiers would have had to be very sure he was dead, before advising Pilate of that fact. If they were wrong, they would be crucified.
That leaves the resurection. The issue here is the lack of evidence. The claims of eyewitnesses don't count for much, when there is no other documentation. They do count, when we can read different accounts of the same event.
In terms of whether or not the theology is factual, you'll have to wait for judgement day. All of the religions that accept the Torah as canonical, believe that there is a "Judgement Day". [Samaritans, Jews, Christians, and Islam being the best known.]
If correct theology is a matter of the popular vote, then the Torah beats out the competition by being the sacred text of more religions, than any other sacred text. The runner up, is a tie between the Tanakh, and the Gospels. [Tanakh is sacred for Jews, and Christians. The Gospels are sacred to Chrsitians, and Islam.]

There are other ancient records, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls and Qumran scrolls that have been found in the last 60 years that contain records that are consistent with the Bible.
Check out these links for more info:

As for proving it, well I'm really not sure how to help you there. It seems to be an issue of believer vs. non-believer. Either you believe or you don't. Historians do not question the Bible as a historical record of people and events. I guess its divinity is usually what gets questioned. That is personal, and is up to you.

Have you not watched documentaries with historians and scholars looking at the Bible purely as a History book. They do not necessarily believe in God, but have proven many of the historical information in the Bible is accurate. Even if you do not believe in its religious meaning it has significant historical value.
Higher education can be a wonderful thing, invest in it, your return is priceless.
Check out National Geographic magazine and Channel (Science of the Bible), the Learning Channel, the Science Channel, Discovery Magazine ( go their sites and put 'the Bible' in their search engine) , many reputable historians, archaeologists, geologists, theologians and scientists, have retrieved and studied evidence surrounding Biblical events and "stories".
Bottom line... I cant change your mind... your gonna believe what ya wanna believe.

I want to see if anyone can disprove the BiIble as truth.
So many dismiss the bible as a matter of habit, yet few claims
of it being "made up by man to control others", have been substantiated.
I would like to see how many can show why the Bible explains the 'Circle of the Earth', 1,000's of years before mankinds science was in agreement.Isa 40:22
Or the simple acts of hygiene: properly covering excrement, not touching dead bodies(animal and human), so as to protect from the spead of disease.Again, 1,000s of years before "science".
Deut. 23:13, Lev. 11:24.
If you need more proof you have to start by making an effort to find out for yourself what the bible says.

well, the word bible is not even in the bible itself. so no question of proving it.
secondly, bible is a collection of books written by men decades after Jesus. eve you go and take out the words of jesus, it will no longer be more than 2 pages of newspaper.
furthermore, which bible christians would like to prove to start with. there are many versions and in each version , some thing is missing what other versions says.
well, Islam is the only religion which provides proofs for its faith.
please refer to this link for logical proofs >>>>>>>

garry miller was a christian but now he is a muslim. because in islam , he found the proofs, which he has shared in this link.

A couple of good books by Lee Strobel - "The Case for Christ" and "The Case for a Creator" - these are great sources (other than the Bible) to begin. But the best I can tell you is that the Bible is very real to me and its promises have been proven in my life.

The truth comes to those who truly believe. Yet some of the Holy Bible is not to be taken literally, but as a lesson or metaphors to help us better follow a great life with trust in God and all that is right.
A quote I live by and love:
"In the province of the mind, what one believes to be true either is true or becomes true." - John Lilly
