Your age depends on what you should be concentrating on most in your life right now. However, with anyone, you need to be sure you are treating others right, especially your parents. One day you might need them, or better yet, be in their shoes.

If you are a student, you should be concerned with your studies and grades and what you want to be when you grow up.

If you are a young adult, you should be concentrating on college or the career path you have chosen to pursue. This is the most important time of your life. It can determine happiness forever in careers. If you choose poorly you will forever regret it. This is also the time some began to make a family. Choose your mate carefully. THIS TRULY DETERMINES FUTURE HAPPINESS!

If you are a midlife adult, you should be concentrating on saving for your elderly years and enjoying your children while they are at home. Enjoy them as they move out and head off to college leaving you and your mate at another stage of life.

If you are elderly, enjoy those rocking chair years and focus on leaving a legacy for your family.

As you can see, what you focus on depends on your age and your lifestyle.

I hope you focus on enjoying life and making WISE decisions.

spirituality and a relationship with my Higher Power comes first as often as possible, my children and grandchildren, my mom, my grandma and siblings and not being rich but comfortable enough that I can help others and know with confidence that mine are covered. my dad just passed away and it is as though I have a different perspective on what holds value and what is now meaningless in my life. I am trying to find answers like everyone else out there but, God and family seem to be the most important things I think about.

I put the answer to that on a webpage. You can skip down to the section " the most important thing in the universe." It is totally original. The rest of the page has great info also. That section has about 4 small paragraphs.

I have a large family, both as a child and as a parent. It is an everyday process to make decisions because you have to balance individual interests with the family as a whole, so I would say the most important thing is to consider how your everyday decisions will affect those around you.

I think the most important thing is to spend time with your loved ones because you never know when they may be not be around anymore. It's also important to focus on your education and a good, fulfilling career.

Whew...big and very good question! I think about my faith in God everyday. I am in my mid 40's and have made tons of wrong life decisions; but am in awe that God has never left my side and still chooses me to have a relationship with Him!!
I mess up all the time as a human, but with a truly repentant heart I know I can ask forgiveness for my slip ups and move forward with God down the path He chooses for me!
That said...I think it's so important to think about others and how we are to be of service to them, no matter what age we are. We are here to serve and have fellowship with other people. In return we get the blessings of abundant life and our reward lies in Heaven.
The world we live in is a 'me' world and we are told to put ourselves first...it just doesn't work that way at all. No man/woman is an island unto themselves; we need each other to be successful and survive the trials of life.
I wish I'd known these truths when I was younger but am still glad for the 'valleys' I've walked through that have taught me valuable life lessons and made me who I am today! A humble servant striving to live for Jesus! God Bless YOU

how to be a catalyst for change on factors that are causing global warming to quickly reach a point of no return. i want to have children, but i change my mind every time i think about what kind of environment and society s/he/they will have to grow up in - especially since, as a whole, mankind continues to ignore his responsibility as custodian of the earth and its creatures.
