I hear a lot that one man's truth is not necessarily another's.
Well I disagree that there is only one truth on any given subject or detail and that there is an infinite amount of non-truths
1+1=2
This is true and not open to debate or interpretation. (idiots pretending to be super geniuses, do not try to counter this point by theoretical, quantum calculations, as quantum mechanics, physics, and math cannot be proven, by definition)
Further IF(!) God is so great and powerful that he can create all of this out of nothing (assuming that this is true), Why would his ability to secure, preserve, and communicate his truth, through human agents be questionable?

I meant to say I disagree.
There is only ONE truth on any given subject or detail, sorry about my poorly worded and punctuated paragraph.

Truth is true whether we understand it or believe it. You said yourself, something is true or it isn't. It can't be both. People are fallible. Nobody has perfect understanding. All we can do is share what we believe to the best we understand it. God communicates through imperfect people, through nature, through the Bible. He will be found if you look for Him. But there is still some mystery to it. It requires faith, not every question has an easy answer

This is a very narrow-minded view, in my opinion. I respectfully disagree, on so many levels.
What is true? Left or right? Is one a non-truth? Which one?
Red or blue
Up or down
Hot or cold
Wet or dry
Here or there
What is true? Which street should I take home from work? The fastest or the scenic view by the river? Is one of these a non-truth? Which one?
I agree that mathematics are, for the most part, absolute, but we live in a world of relativity...not the absolute. That is where God resides.
God is absolute. In this state there are no contradictions and no relativity. Everything is constant, absolute.
There are no temperature fluctuations, for instance. How would you know it's hot, if you never experienced cold? How would you know you're tall, if you never saw someone shorter than you? How would you know love if you never experienced hate or fear?
God knows what God is, but the knowing of a thing and the experiencing of it are two entirely different things. For example you know what icecream is, but experiencing the taste of it is different (and SO much better) than just intellectually knowing that it is frozen cream and sugar.
We are here so that God can experience God's self.
God created life as we know it so that God could experience God's self in the world of relativity through us, who are each an individuation of the whole.
God does not judge us for our actions...after this physical incarnation ends we will return to the spiritual dimension and decide if we want to stay or experience another physical incarnation. This is how we serve God.

You are right about the 1+1=2. But mathematics is NOT based on faith; religion is. Oh yeah, and I also saw on a billboard one time(everyone probably has) 1+1=3. They were talking about teenagers having sex and getting pregnant; so therefore 1+1 can also equal 3. When it comes to faith, there is nothing that can be proven, that is exactly why it is called that. You really cannot compare the two at all. And why some of the scriptures are so questionable are because G-d gave the truth to mankind, but mankind has free will. Mankind will do with his truth what he wants.

Deep Man! It's a question of choice? Just like babies need parents, men and women need preachers to guide us to the right decision, that's why God sent his disciples out to preach and that's why to this day we still have preachers, Catholic, Lutheran, all sorts of Baptist, and literally thousands of different kinds of preachers. They are here to keep God's truth, or their particular brand of it, in our mind, in front of us, so that we can choose to either ignore the message or to heed it and live a good life. However, like on Star Trek: The Next Generation, maybe each choice is played out in trillions of Quantum Universes. That would be cool but I doubt it. But I can neither prove nor disprove it either. We choose to believe or not to believe and the preachers tell us what they think we should believe. The problem is that no two preachers seem to agree on the whole truth, which is simply to be the Good Samaritan, to take the last seat at the table, and to stand at the back of the church and ask humbly for God's forgiveness for our trespasses and to forgive those who trespass against us. Men have made faith more difficult than it really is. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That's basically all we have to do.

If God was at all interested in communicating his message to us lowly humans, I am sure that he could find a way. It would in all likelihood not include putting his words in a book that would be hand copied thousands of times and interpreted thousands of ways. The very fact that the book exists proofs that it could not possibly be from God, he isn't that inept, otherwise we wouldn't be here to discuss this.

1+1 could just mean one and one put them together and you get 11. To your real question. Man is fallible no matter how good ones intentions, or how they have felt inspired to be. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of god. God could control us all a lot more, but then we wouldn't have free will.

If 1/3 =.33 repeating, then 1=.99 repeating, therefore 1+1 also equals 1.99repeating. Anyway, when it comes to religion, I think religions are impossible to disprove, and improbable to prove.

Either god doesn't exist or it's an evil god that wants everyone to be confused. The former is more likely.
