how do i know if he is not just playing around?

there is this guy named jordan in my class.....(he is cute)....he ask me out but i dont know if he is just messing around or what cuz in the class room all he does in mess around and he has know i like him for like ever and now that he has ask me out i dont know what to tell him cuz i dont know if he is just playing about it......plz help me......=(

First of all, there's a big difference between playing around and asking someone out. Guys fear rejection and so it takes alot of courage normally for them to ask someone out.

Secondly, if he is joking, you can find out by calling his bluff. You've got nothing to lose. Say yes and see what happens.
