Revelation 9:11 (New International Version)
They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon.
Footnotes:
Revelation 9:11 Abaddon and Apollyon mean Destroyer
I see what you mean it calls him king and angel, it might be the angel from the folowing text:
Revelation 20
1And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
But I think it is Satan, for Jesus refers to his kingdom (though this is probably the demons, as we Christians are the kingdom of God)
Matthew 12:26
If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand?

Well, it says he's the angel of the bottomless pit and he is the destroyer. He is addressed in Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress as the Angel of the Abyss.
The Bible just doesn't say much more, but the whole of chapter 9 is addressing things that are plagues and such, so I guess you can draw your conclusion from there.
He doesn't sound like someone I would want as a neighbor.
