Melchizedek was first.

Genesis 14
18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, 19 and he blessed Abram, saying, "Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.

Jesus was of this line of priesthood.

Hebrews 7
11If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come—one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? 12For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. 13He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. 14For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. 15And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, 16one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life. 17For it is declared: "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."

verse 17 refers to Psalm 110:4

Psalm 110 Of David. A psalm.
1 The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." 2 The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies. 3 Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy majesty, from the womb of the dawn you will receive the dew of your youth. 4 The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind: "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek." 5 The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath. 6 He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth. 7 He will drink from a brook beside the way; therefore he will lift up his head.

Melchizedek - Jesus is the High Priest and King according to the order of Melchizedek. Melchizedek was God's High Priest and he was also a king. Abraham offered his tithes to Melchizedek when they met. If you read the Scriptures carefully, Melchizedek had no beginning and no end - just like Jesus who is the Alpha and Omega.

Jesus cannot be the High Priest and King according to the line of Aaron or Saul (respectively) - because they have all failed terribly in God's sight (especially Saul).

Revelation 3:14 "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: those are the words of the Amen, the truthful and actual witness, the ruler of God's creation. No. Colossians a million:15 he's a ineffective ringer for the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. No Colossians is going right this moment directly to assert: "For by making use of him all issues have been created: issues in heaven and in the worldwide, seen and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or government; all issues have been created by making use of him and for him. he's formerly all issues, and in him all issues carry at the same time." So Jesus is YHWH, Jehovah, Elohim, Lord, author of all issues. compliment Him!! playstation Jehovah's witnesses are no longer Christians, they are fakers, like Christian spiritualists. JW's are close, yet making Jesus an angel is basically incorrect, and denies the actual capacity of Grace and the Gospel.

get the question right- jesus was supposed to be (because of his bloodline) king/high priests, for the jews! christians stole him and made him a son of god- christians dont think of him as a king/high priest- that would be too jewish for them. there were lots of high priests before him as there were lots of kings and queens of england
