I lived in FL when I moved out of my parents house at the age of 16 and it was legal without emancipation because I did have my parents consent.... the only problem I ran into was going to the doctor I did have to get emancipation paperwork put on file at my doctor's office and the local hospital. Besides that I never had any other problems.

You could BUT I dont think its a very wise move. Why the heck would you want to take on major adult responsibilities so young? Bills, car, travel expenses, cleaning, cooking etc. Life as an adult is much more than just moving in with a friend....I think you should make up a list of pros and cons.

You need to have done with studies and have a full time job, if you want to have a peaceful, happy life or you will always be worried about finances and a messy place to live. I doubt your friend will want to take on your mummy role.....and if he wants to take on a Daddy role...that would be scary. Living with a guy is generally bad news at such an early age as you may be subject to abuse.

Stay home and save your money and become the best adult you can be, before you test your wings. It really is more relaxing that way. You need those boundaries to help get through until your brain is sufficiently developed to make informed choices and decisions...or you may end up a druggie, on welfare, single mum, credit card debt, town slapper etc. Give yourself a chance, in life, to become someone with direction and integrity.

At 16 you're not of legal age to move out.....Just wait ....you'll be 18. If you do the move out thing now your parents can have you arrested as a juvenile runaway. Save yourself some trouble...Stick it out another 2 years. Moving out is hard and expensive. I am sure that you don't have employment that pays enough to support yourself.

To move out legally at 16 this is what you need to do. You must have a JOB be self supporting. You can petition the courts in your city and state to emancipate you as an adult. Use the court system to your advantage and get the legal documentation necessary to prove that at 16 you're responsible.!

legally, you must be emancipated! Mom may agree now, but if you run into legal problems, she can claim that she never gave permission for you to leave. Cover yourself, go to court, and get emancipated. I must confess that I'm curious about your finances, and whether or not they're legal....If they're not legal, seek advice from your attorney; I'm certain that you will have one on retainer if your activities are illegal!

I think that only works with getting married at such a young age. and also I think if both parents are living and present in your life they both have to agree.

well if you can get her to be your guardian then your mom has to sign a paper stating your guardian has the right to take you to the hospital for medical treatment.
