Christianity is not a requirement as for as trying to be Jesus like and all the other stuff you engage in or try to make people believe, that to be a true Christian you must do and act a certain way, go to church, read the bible, give 10% and so on.
None of these thing are required to be saved by Jesus, you can do these thing if you wish, but you don’t have to

What's your point, a lot of OT and phrases out of context, so if that's the case we can take any part out of context and use it to our advantage, so what part is correct

Where in the Bible does it say that ALL you have to do is believe? Is the phrase "accept Jesus as your Lord & Savior" even in the Bible?

On the other hand...
Acts 2:38-Repent and be baptized.
Hebrews 5:9-Christ is the author of salvation to those that OBEY.
Acts 17:11-Bereans called noble beacuse they searched the scriptures daily.
2 Timothy 2:15-"Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth."
Matthew 7:21-"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

EDITED IN RESPONSE TO COMMENTS ABOVE:
Not too familiar with the Bible, are you? None of these scriptures are OT; all are from the NT. My point is that throughout the NT study of and obedience to God's word are shown to be a requirement for entrance into heaven (along with faith). Yes, it's not by works of our own righteousness and we cannot ever "earn" the gift of heaven (Ephesians 2:8-9), but that doesn't eliminate our role in our own salvation (Philippians 2:12, Matthew 7:21). If you like, read the entire context of any of the verses I have cited, and you will see that my point is supported by the biblical context. It is simply not space-efficient to post the entire NT here.

There ARE two requirements to salvation, except in special cases, and they are; believe on the name of Jesus the only begotten Son of God, and to be baptized, it must be by immersion, no other method fits with the known facts. "and there was MUCH water. If any other method were acceptable, then they would not need 'much' water, a cup, or jug would have done. As for the rest they ARE requirements OF the saved, they are NOT requirements TO BE saved.

The Bible says that it will be harder for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. If accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior is the only requirement, then why would rich people have a harder time than anyone else?

That's true. However, Jesus specifically said if we love Him we will obey His commands. He wasn't throwing that down as a task or a gauntlet, but as a way of knowing. I think we can safely say that a Christian loves Jesus. And Jesus said those that love Him will obey. So yes - you CAN technically be saved and keep living the same way you were, but the question then is are you really saved?

You have to make your OWN peace with the Big Guy. If you feel that it is not necessary to attend services or learn about the teachings of Jesus, and you can make that peace with God, more power to you.

Your question is a bit unfair because you are asking others to judge you, but judging others is a sin for most Christians. You must do what you believe in your heart is necessary to please God. The rest of us have no place judging your actions.

John17:3 tells us that accurate knowledge brings everlasting life, so if the other answers were right that we do not have to do anything then why does thaty scripture say that? The Scriptures gave faithful Jews and others who would listen what they needed in order to know God. Jesus emphasized that God wants true worship, this shows that there are forms of worship unacceptable to God. To worship God means to give himreverent honor and to render sacred service to him. If you wanted to show honor to a powerful ruler, likely you would be eager to serve him and do what would please him. Surely, then, we want to please God. Rather than merely say'My religion suits me,' we therefore need to make sure that our worship meets God's requirements.
Let us read Mathew7:21-23 and see if we can isolate the crucial factor that determines wether all worship is acceptable to God. Jesus said:Not everyone saying to me , "Lord, Lord," will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. Doing the Will of my Father would denote doing something rather than nothing, so there is something more than just accepting Jesus Christ into ones life and nothing else, many peoplesay that tha all you have to do is to accept Jesus and nothing more is involved, but after reading Mathew7:21-23would you saythat is right? No it can't be, because doing nothing is not doing Gods Will is it? So to do Gods Will more is required, first we have to learn what Gods Will to be able to do it, hence John17:3 the taking in of that helps us to get to know what God requires is first knowledge then to do his willthe answer then to your question, then, is no it is not enough
just to accept Jesus into one's life, as tryly accepting Jesus in your life is more thanjust saying so, you would really need to follow his footsteps closely and his example of the things he did!It is a requirement not an option to follow Jesus footsteps, in doing God's Will!To do that, there is mor action involved than just words!

If you really believe you will love the man for saving our sorry butts, and if you love him as your god and saviour you will want to do those things, but it is not a requirement to get to heaven, so your are right.

yes that is exactly right you can't be good because we are imperfect and the only way to become perfect is through Jesus. because when you ask God to forgive you when you sin he doesn't see your sin he sees Jesus. i will pray for u good luck
