I don't think it is a sin. I love beer, and I do not feel that it is a sin to drink it -- only to abuse it.
However, it is not important what I think. What do YOU think? Why do you feel guilty? If you feel it is a sin, then yes, for you it is a sin.
Personally, I think you can abuse (gluttony) pretty much anything in life. Gluttony is where the danger is.

No sin if you're drinking with me baby!!!
Really, seriously. Get over it. This whole notion of "sin". Sin shouldn't have external definition.
Sin should be defined within yourself and your own heart. Does drinking a beer cause harm to yourself or others? That should be the bottom line. There are so many so-called sins in the Bible that are either just absurd or actually the right thing to considering the circumstances.
Example, thou shalt not lie. If you had to lie in order to save the life of your child or spouse, you should lie your *** off!

If you feel guilty about it then maybe the Holy Spirit is talking to you... But only you know. I know for me ....when the Spirit talks to me it warns me or tells me when something I want to do is something I probably should not do. Does the drinking make you struggle in your faith or make others struggle around you.. These are questions I would ask my self.... I do not believe drinking is a Sin.. It is only a sin when you Idolize or let it control or effect your walk with God... =)
Amen and God Bless

Are you crazy???
Drinking a beer in not a sin!
Do you think God is going to punish you?
Some of these GOD people on this site are a bit over the top.
Why would God punish you, or Judge you? Would you do that to your child?
I thought God was all about Love, not punish people and send them straight to hell, (not that there is one)
Between the Bible, preachers, and God talk, a persons mind can get twisted so much you don't know what to think.

People drank in the bible...even Jesus did! Don't forget he turned water into wine. The only "sin" (supposedly) is if you overindulge. Everything in moderation; so unless you get silly drunk off of 3 beers, then I don't think you're committing a sin against god or anything...
