why do women spend a long time looking for mr right/perfect, and then when they do, they start making changes?

if he's mr right or mr perfect already then why change him? (stuff like, what to wear, what to eat, how fast to walk blah blah blah....)

For the same reason on a night out they will enter their wardrobe, look at 100 outfits, and always ware the first one they looked at!!

That they will bollock you for going out with your mates on a Saturday night without letting them know: and then TELL you they are going out next Friday!!

That they will slap you for even looking at the barmaid as you order your pint..but will bugger off in 2's-3's 4's etc to discuss how fit the new bouncer looks with his summer tan with their mates!!

Because they are Women (translation: woe is man)
They Can,
They Will,
And it is there prerogative to do so!!

Sorry mate, its something that us fellas have to live with..or decide to turn gay!! Because it will never be any different!!

I think it's because people fall for the wrong people; instead of waiting for the right person for them, they fall for someone because he's cute or fun or they want to have someone or whatever...heck I'm 39, never been married, and only found the man I'd wanna wake up to every day forever last year. Most women get married when they're like, what, 25 or so? After almost 25 years of dating experience, I think I can say I took a little longer to look for someone! Sometimes I complain about still being single, but at least I'm not stuck with someone that annoys the be-geebers out of me half the time. I've had enough boyfriends that did that, lol-why keep them???

There is no such thing as a perfect man, or woman, for that matter. We are all human, and make the same mistakes. The same question could be asked of men: Why does a man want a woman to change from trainers and jeans to thongs and high heels? We change our makeup, hair, clothes, even our opinions shift in order to please men. I think it goes both ways. Personally, I believe that you should fall in love with the person just as they are, male or female. It makes life a lot easier and more enjoyable, and saves a lot of time planning what to change next!

PERFECT is a relative thing. What's perfect for me, it doesn't mean that it's perfect for anyone else too. Maybe that's because women spend a long time looking for something that's perfect according to some of their girl-friends or to an article in a magazine... I don't know. Never been a woman before.

The flaws women find in men are flaws they hate in themselves (ever notice how it's get a haircut, wear better clothes, lose weight and get a good paying job?).

I for one am a woman. I am married. I don't change my husband because he IS perfect. I've never known anyone better. I tell him if he annoys me, but differences are what make our sames so special.

but for the record, he is always on me to work out more and do something with my hair........he's such a girl.

Its called being female, its like we are born to make sure that mr. right suits what we want in that mr. right at all times not just sometimes...as a womans mood changes some women will ensure that the guy changes with that mood to keep mr. right ...right

Women, we spend a lot of of time looking for an idea.....or ideal perfect man....We make changes because we need him to stay ideal...since women change like the wind we need a man to be flexible. I say women or we women just need to start accepting the man we have and all his flaws just the way we expect him to accept us with all of out baggage.

Maybe because there is no such thing as Mr. perfect, maybe he is close enough but not exactly so they probably do the little bit of changing to make him the complete package. I know its weird.

this will answer it.. a woman goes into a 5 storey shopping area where guys are the merchandise... floor 1 has guys who are good looking with nice personalities. she automatically goes to floor #2...floor 2 has guys that have the qualities of floor one plus these guys are good in bed and are family oriented. she moves on... floor 3 signs says, the perfect guy ...this floor has guys with floor 1 & 2 qualites plus they are rich they are faithful, they listen, they work hard, they love kids, they're attentive and help around the house.... she is tempted to purchase at this store but just can't stop herself from wanting a bit more... she moves onto floor number 4...the sign on this floor says, " ...you are visitor number 11,455,234,897 ...this floor exist simply to illustrate that women can never be satisfied."

To women when they first meet mister right all that means is that they need minimal change, To them all men need some "customization" to fit them even if they were good before they met them they now need to be tweaked to fir what they want. So they slowly start to change us and us the "punani" and a barganing chip!
