How about just putting on the outside of the card "A Celebration of Love" and on the inside put something like "Jack and Jill Smith......A Renewal of Vows...." and the where, when, etc.

What a sweet thing for you to do.
I'd go with something simple like
The children of Mr and Mrs John Smith request the honour of your presence as they renew their vows on Octobr 22, 2006 at Riverdale Baptist Church.
If they don't want gifts, maybe they can designate a charity for people to donate to instead of gifts. A lot of people will bring gifts even if they're asked not to, unless there is something else they can do.
Of course, include a map and a date by which to RSVP.
Good luck, your parents are fortunate to have you to help them!

If you want simple, got to business depot. They have some great invites that are easy to set up. Your insert should show the respect that you have for them and the love that they have for each other. You can start easily with, Come celebrate a life of love, with the renewing of vows of my parents ______ & ____.

Best of luck to you, and congrats to the happy renewing couple!

I would make sure that it reflects your parent' taste as well as is an example of their love. If they have a favorite quote, song, poem, bible verse, etc include that. As long as it shows their love anything would appropriate.
