because some times girls take it the wrong way, like we want to liqour you up and take advantage of you.
Or some girls blow us off or try to take advantage of it with more
I depends on how the girl acts i think.

Maybe you should switch watering holes .... I'm not a big drinker or bar-goer but I've noticed that even "neighborhood bars" can be kinda pricey these days .... like maybe $6 for a Vodka drink plus tip .... I should think a lot of guys just can't really afford too many "buys" ...
On the other hand, the upscale joints with their $11-12 martinis and their "young professional" clientele ought to be a different story ... some young single lawyer, MBA making over $100k can probably afford to buy a gal a drink ....
OR ... go to the real old fashioned places with the older guys who wouldn't dream of NOT buying the ladies a drink .....
On the other, other hand ..... why don't you just buy your own ? Personally, I've never liked that feeling of being "obligated" after accepting a drink ... some women don't feel that way .... I do .....

Its the womens lib thing. Besides, the grind on the dance floor seems to be the latest way of dancing. (lol) If your interested in a person that you see, take the chance and buy him a drink. Most of the time, they have the manners to be polite, and will at least come and talk to you. If they are interested, they will buy you one back.

There is no apology for this behavior. The fact that he's 26 and you're 19, it tells me he's looking for someone young enough to still tolerate his immature behavior. While that's only a 7 year age gap, there's a HUGE maturity gap when you're in your twenties/late teens. He's taking advantage of your overly-forgiving behavior, know you'll do nothing about his behavior except yell at him for a few minutes then move on. I strongly suggest you rethink this relationship and what it's doing for you. You've been together for TWO years - if he hasn't changed his immature behavior yet, he's not going to. He's old enough to be set in his ways now and it will be hard for him to change his behavior. Do you want to live in a relationship like this forever? It sounds like he has a budding alcohol problem and his excessive absence does not help the trust in the relationship - and the fact that he's lying does not add any merit to his explanations of absence. I would encourage you to get out of this relationship before it escalates.

Okay, pretend you're a guy in a bar, there are lots of nice looking ladies. so you send one a drink, which isn't that cheap anymore, and she accepts the drink but not you. So you cast your eye around for another choice, and try again.
Do this a few times, and your wallet is going to take a bit hit.
It's more economical, to see if you can at least, get a conversation going, then offer her a drink.
Unless you make big bucks, it's not cost effective to go around buying girls drinks.

How many drinks do you buy a man to show you are interested. Get with the times, we women have been fighting for equal rights, same pay for same jobs, fighting against sexual harrasment etc, so why would we expect a man to buy us a drink because he is interested in us. Whats wrong with just coming up to you and talking to you .

Oh dear.....dear dear dear.....sigh. Let's see. Why don't you buy a guy a drink to show him you're interested. instead of just grinding HIM on the dance floor. Yeah, I'm right, it is a two way street.

Too many girls make a second living sponging free drinks and then ditching you later. You want equality... buy him one. If he's a decent guy he will get the next 5.

Men really don't have to do too much anymore to get to know a woman. Men really have changed over the years and so have women. No one knows what to expect from each other anymore it's no holds barred out here anything could happen.

Because in general, guys don't have manners anymore!!! Their parents don't teach them any better. I agree with you 100% and while you're getting me that drink, how about escorting me to the dance floor and back and asking my name? If they only knew how much we appreciate the extra attention, they would be falling all over themselves buying you a drink. You go girl!
