I'm a pretty handy guy and have seen some floors I know I could do but I'd like something really outstandong. I don't want to do mine and a week later see one I WISH I'd done.

We had a wood lamonate floor (real wood not Pergo) and it scratched up something awful. We have dogs. But I would never do that again. If you can do traditional wood floors I would highly recommend it. We have those in our new house and they are about a million times better. I hate to see people waste their money.
