and with the hot summer how does she confront them without offending them because her house overlooks their back garden

I need to add that their back garden also adjoins a school play ground area. They need to be confronted about exposure to young people

If it's in the UK it is probably indecent exposure, so it's pobably not ok for them to strut around their back garden!

If you don't like it, let them know.

Even though I would never parade around nude I feel that it is entirely within these people's rights to do so in their own backyard.

If she really feels the need to confront them I would think that she can expect them to tell her that they can see where she's coming from, but that they're not going to change the way they live just because it offends someone else's sensibilities.

On the other hand, if there is a local ordinance against this sort of thing, then she can simply mention that.

Tell your friends to stop snooping on their neighbours. What's their problem with nakedness?
Remove the ladder from their fence and tell them to mind their own business. Overlooks, or looks over?

I wouldn't do anything, it's educational for the kids, they'll learn to be easy on their body and to understand other people's choices.
No I'm not a naturist by the way.

She should be able to figure out some sort of screening device (an awning, perhaps?). But I bet if she just ignores them, she'll soon forget all about it.
