Bipolar is an illness and is treatable, it's also known as Manic Depression because a persons moods can go from High (manic) to Low (depression)'
Bipolar affects people differently because obviously everyone is different but the symptoms may be the same, the symptoms are categorized under the high (manic) symptoms and low (depression) symptoms.
