Since faith is a very personal thing in which people of the same branch in any religion differ greatly, I think such a class would lead to more division than unity. Whatever you teach, it would conflict with many other people's faith beliefs. Labeling it "meditating to a higher being" sounds general enough, but it will offend many, who believe only in praying to God, not some ambiguous action that denies God. It just sounds like a bad idea for the company to sponsor such an event, unless the company itself is a religious company selling or engaged in religious ventures.
If a company REALLY wants to encourage spirituality in their workers, they would, WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED and no pressure against them, allow each person TIME OFF for their day of religious practice. Allow them to pre-plan this with their supervisor in which they work other weekly hours to make up for the time lost. For instance, many companies allow Muslims to have time off for their mid-day friday service; in fact, legally they are required to allow it but the pressure still exists against permitting it. Then, you have christians being pressured to work Sundays etc.

No. It is up to each person individually to seek their own spirituality, or not. This should have NOTHING to do with their employment, nor should it be mandated by any type of law. This is an individual choice. Thus, free will!
You can't make someone be a good or better person. Besides which, "good" is very subjective. Who is good? What denotes good? Is a politician good? Is a homeless person bad? Which is better?

They already are by some - it's called the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Each step is not specifically based on spiritual principles, but reflects them.

There are spirituality workshops held in most areas. I think the people that would be interested in such would seek them out.

Certainly not. Religion should be a private and personal matter to be carried out at home or in churches, not touting for business in the workplace.

spirituality in the professional atmosphere is a joke. if you've ever worked in a "Professional" environment for any length of time, you'll know that spiritually is the last thing you should be concerned about.

Hell no. Spirituality of any kind doesn't belong as a corporate-sanctioned event. It's discriminatory (legally speaking).
