I'm 28, and after 4 yrs, I'm miserable. I feel I'm wasting my youth. He never puts me first, and just when I've had it, he swoops me off my feet... again>

You ARE wasting your time cause he's never gonna change, honey. Get up your courage and do what's right for yourself for a change; don't let the charm lure you back. If you're unhappy, get out now! Been there, done that.

I am also 28 & been together 6 yrs. Together we share 5 children (he has 2, I have 1 & we have 2 ). The past year has been nothing BUT disappointment for me. He has gotten severely lazy to the point where he does absolutley nothing. I shovel, mow, dishes, bathe the kids, make everyones lunches for work & school, clean, etc. And he has nothing nice to say. All he ever seems to do is complain & nag. Why didn't I make the bed, why am I on the computer when I could be washing the floor, if I have a shower make sure I take the kids, blah blah blah. I'm sick of it. I told him that he is going to die a lonely cranky old man with nothing. He says it's me. I am happy, outgoing, well liked, down to earth & unlike him, understanding. It's at the point now where his kids don't want to be around him. I don't blame them. If we didn't have children it would be much easier to walk away. Right now I'm considering counselling. Even if he chooses not to come, I can still go and atleast I can say that I tried. The problem is that he is a negative person(never used to be) & he gets mad when I tell him to give life a break cuz it's the only one he's ever gonna live. Then he doesn't talk to me for 2 or 3 days. He's not abusive just pitying his own selfish misery. I feel for you because I understand. There is probably a whole lot more going on that you & I will never understand, but they need to understand that if they're not willing to put a foot forward then they will lose everything...never knowing why. They will die alone and suffering, wondering. If that's the way they want it, let them have it. Hope I have helped.
