There is no one saviour of the world. Every religion has their own saviour. Basically it breaks down to what the world has been saved from, again different in every culture and religion.the wro most prominant thoughts are jesus and mohammed, but to a starving mother, the person who feeds her and herstarving children is their saviour. We need more of that kind of saviours, don't you think, and less of the kind we put up on a pedistal and worship. FEED THE HUNGRY, AND BECOME A WORLD SAVIOUR. and stop bickering about whose god is the best.

Although many may tell you it is yourself, you will find, as the Psalmist did "sorrow and despair" when turning to yourself. Many may say it is a church or organized religion, but many have tried vain ritual and plummeted deeper into confusion. Many will tell you it is a spirit or an antichrist or Satan himself; these are obviously very disturbed people, which unfortunately are under the control of someone who cares not for their welfare. The Savior is the man, the second in the God-head, Jesus Christ. He saves the world from the most dreaded, fatal, and otherwise incurable disease - sin. Sin is what causes delusion, frustration, and that void in the middle of your soul. Why can't drugs, alcohol, sex, spiritism, busyness, success, and all the other things people look to fill that void? Why can no man or man-based religion fill the void? Because there is only one Savior, One mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.
Deckape, the only way one can find freedom from sin and a true peace is to understand that Christ came to save the world from sin. Sin is real. Denying it will not make it go away. Believing on Christ will.

This question assumes at least 3 things. It assumes the world needs to be saved, it assumes it can be saved and assumes the world can be saved by one person. I challenge you that all of these assumptions are erroneous. There is no one world saviour. Since those who do not want to be saved cannot be saved, each person is responsible to save themselves. We are on our own. WE EACH must do the hard work. No one will do it for us. It is childish to expect some mythical or mystical being to swoop down and be so merciful. If we all mature spiritually and take responsibility for ourselves, we won't need to be saved by someone or some thing because we will already have done it for ourselves. Stop looking toward the heavens and look within your own heart. If the answer isn't there, then it is no where.
