The difficulty of explaining the true Jesus is a challenge with a Muslim. I just accept that they believe in God & hope that God will let them in to heaven, as I do love my Muslim friends.

I get that Muslims believe Jesus was a very important prophet.
But the thing is, he wasn't just that. He was the answer to the sacrificial system that wasn't working. He came to wash away sin, not merely teach us how to be good.
He wasn't merely a "son" of God. (That's just a term used to make it easier for us to understand. I think we'll all understand it better someday.) He IS God - or at least a facet of him. No one else could do what he did, by taking on the sins of the world.
Impossible_Dream is right. There's a world of difference in believing Jesus existed and believing IN him.

It is hard in this time of Fundamentalism to study faiths different from our own. It is seen as a blasphemy to simply ask a question. It is seen as a loss of faith to seek knowledge and know our fellow humans. It's not just Christians who have a distorted view of Muslims. And it's not just Muslims that have a distorted view of Christianity. I have many friends of many faiths and it has taken years of careful wording for us to finally get to a point where we can discuss God without personal attacks. It has taken a long time to get around defensive barriers and get to the true heart of our faiths. I thank you for making an effort to understand the other side, and have them understand you. However, I fear that the lump sum term "Christians" forgets the fact that not all "Christians" are Christian in the same way (just like Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and my dear Wiccans).
And for the record, I didn't think Muslims didn't believe in Jesus.

if you do not believe that Jesus was the real son of God, then you might as well not believe in Jesus at all. Was Adam or Solomon crucified for our sins on the cross? They are pointless to mention.

So, as a Christian those comments are truly optimum people to Christ? i latterly got here upon a survey on line what shaped the argument "Why do Muslims hate Jesus?". With many distinctive techniques on a survey for that query. 10% chosen with the aid of fact he replace into born of a virgin. This basically confirmed me how ignorant Christian's could be while that's truly a sturdy coaching that he replace into certainly born in that way by making use of the capacity of God. I additionally got here upon it truly ridiculus that the main chosen decision replace into with the aid of fact he "replace into the son of god" which proves to me that they ought to comprehend the Qur'an's coaching he's not. even however, they do no longer comprehend that it teaches the virgin beginning? Perhalps, a real Christian believes God despatched Jesus with the aid of fact the scriptures say. by making use of the way, those people we call Muslims are truly believers interior the Bible, yet have a view extra geared in the direction of the 1st commandment as taught by making use of moses and Jesus Christ (saviour to all no longer in user-friendly terms Christians). From a Christian perspective why does not you opt to worship God with out any companions while he has executed lots on your salvation and your soul? Why could any actual Christian decide to oppose a believer in God while the coaching is to reason them to Christ? Are you particular you comprehend the actuality? Why could a real Christian hate a Muslim while the coaching is to hate the sin no longer the sinner? the two Muslims and Christians have faith God's grace is a loose present. the place is the argument in that actuality? what's to assert that a saved Christian can no longer flow to Islam if the coaching is that Jesus saves us constantly as quickly as we've faith in him? Or perhalps we are saved by making use of grace, yet choose extra God-reliance?

No, Christians don't think that. I've heard Muslims say that they believe that Jesus existed they just don't believe he' s the son of God or something like that.

yes .. muslims do believe in jesus... but as a messenger of God .. not his Son. because according to the Quran in Surah Ikhlas it says " he doesn't beget .. nor was he begotten".
i don't think son and honour servant is the same thing... it must be a mistranslation of the original bible!

I agree, this is the logical presentation of the religion of God. All of us are His servants and He sent only the prophets to guide us.

To believe in Jesus is to SERVE, OBEY, AND WORSHIP HIM..
You do not. Don't ever think that Yahweh is allah, they are two different gods. And there is only one true God, Father Son and Holy Spirit..
