I'd like to know if anyone has a recipe for honey buns (not cinnamon buns) similar to the storebought ones by Little Debbie or Tastykake ( http://www.littledebbie.com/products/HoneyBuns.asp ). I've scoured the internet, but I can't find a good recipe. Thanks in advance!

As I mentioned in my post, I've already searched the internet, and various recipe sites, without success.

You're not kidding, they're hard to come by! This was the closest thing I could find:
Honey Bun Ring
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 cans (8 ozs. each) refrigerated biscuits
Place butter, honey and brown sugar into 5 cup microwave safe ring mold. Microwave uncovered, on High, 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle with nuts. Separate biscuits. Roll each biscuit in syrup. Push biscuits together so they all fit into dish. Cover with paper towel. Microwave on High 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes, or until dough is no longer doughy. Rotate once or twice. Cool 1 minute. Invert onto serving plate. Serves 5 to 6.
**If a microwave ring mold is unavailable try using a round 8-inch microwave safe cake dish with a greased custard cup inserted in the middle. Pour the batter or place the biscuits carefully around the custard cup and bake.

8oz flour pinch of salt 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda 1 tsp cream of tartar 1 tsp mixed spice 3oz margarine 2oz sugar 1 tbsp treacle or honey milk to mix Sieve dry ingredients, rub in fat, and add sugar. Melt the treacle or honey without making it too warm. Add this to the dry ingredients, using a little milk to give a soft dough. Put the mixture into some greased patty tins and bake in a hot oven (450-475F) for 15-20 mins, til well risen and golden brown. Leave on a rack to cool. (actually, they look good, I think I might go and make some...) Update: just out of the oven, and they ARE good, yum... if you're not got cream of tartar use 2tsp baking powder in place of the tartar and bicarbonate. Enjoy!
