the wedding band is the one that stays on the left hand the engagement ring can be worn on either hand or even around the neck on a chain
the wedding band is the one that has been blessed and is the one that binds you as husband and wife after the wedding band is place on your finger in some cases the engagement ring is then taken off

It is tradition (I wont do it though) that when you walk down the aisle you wear your engagement band on your ring finger of your right hand. Then your wedding band is placed on the ring finger of your left hand. However, after the ceremony you would slip the engagement ring onto t he left hand and the rings will already be in place. If you are talking about before the wedding, you would usually still wear the engagement ring on the left hand and after the wedding you'd wear both on the left hand with the engagement ring closest to the wallet, and wedding band closest to the heart lol

Usually a engagement ring and a wedding band are fused together when you get married. Its a symbol of unity. So I don't know the answer really but I guess if you really feel like you have to wear them separate then your wedding band goes on your left and your other ring on your right.

Your wife is still wearing the engagement ring because she wants other men to know that she is still taken and is not interested. She is considering a reconcilliation and by wearing another ring in place of her wedding band means that she is getting closer to making a decision and is considering putting her wedding ring back on.

They both go on your left hand ring finger. Mine are made so the wedding band looks silly without the engagement ring, but they're sautered together, so it doesn't really matter.

Usually you just wear them both together on your left hand, on the same finger! But who knows - you might start a trend!!!

I think its tradition to wear them on the same hand. There are places that can mold them together.
