Well, on July 3rd I'm heading to NC to go to my grandparents, and they have a fourth of July party to celebrate the holiday, and my birthday which is then too.
The problem is, I've got this guy that I really like that I see every year, and I'm pretty sure he likes me. The problem is, he's my second cousin. My grandpa's brother's grandchild. Would you guys consider dating him to be impure, because we are distantly related?

Being a second cousin would cause family issues, but common man, she's 12 years older than you. PS: My cousins hot too ;)

I'd say the fact that it'd be a long distant relationship is enough to say no. The issue of him being your second cousin is a different one. I say that as long as you both want to do it, then do it. But what would your family think? Do you care? Would it be worth it if they dogged on you a lot for dating a relative? In my opinion, though, if it doesn't hurt anyone aside from the people that choose to do it, it's not immoral at all.

that's kinda wrong. cuz 2nd cousins aren't that distantly related. i have a 2nd cousin that is only 4 years younger than me. that'd be weird. but if u want to, go ahead and do it.

actually, that is too close. That in fact, is illegal, because of imbreeding. 3rd cousins is usually the cut-off of legal marriages. If you want to screw him or something, i wouldn't tell anybody.

My cousins son is my 2nd cousin, I would never conside dating him. That is like dating your uncle............ same generation gap.

well same thing happen to me i just didn't know he was my second cousin and when i was about to talk flirt with him i found out and even if his your second cousin it don't seem that right to date him
