I would be cautious, my son got into the shaved head. He is living in georgia and got a bad sunburn on his scalp. Never thought to put sunblock on his head.
He is now letting his hair grow back a bit.
I don't know why she would want you to shave it, but if you really felt you had to do it, I would wait until fall, late fall but give it enough time to grow in before winter.
It is hair, it will grow back. Don't be too scared. But if you don't want to, don't do it. If she has a problem with you not giving in to her, she has other problems. Dump her.

FIRST OF ALL WHY DOES SHE WANT YOU TO SHAVE YOUR HEAD? SHE MUST HAVE A GOOD ANSWER FOR THAT BEFORE I WOULD CUT MY HAIR OFF...DOES SHE REALIZE THAT IF IT LOOKS BAD AND SHE IS STILL GOING TO STAY WITH YOU THAT WHEN SOMEONE LAUGHS AT YOU THEY ARE ALSO LAUGHING AT HER...DOES SHE REALIZE THAT IF YOUR GUYS ARE IN SCHOOL THAT IF YOU SHAVE IT NOW IT WILL STILL BE SHORT BY THEN..IF I WERE YOU BEFORE YOU GO DOING SOMETHING THAT SILLY JUST FOR HER, I WOULD FIND OUT THE REAL REASON SHE WANTS YOU TO DO IT..

A very few men look good with a purposely bald head. A few men (stereotypes) I think of--guys with big necks, bad asses, and felons. find out why. Maybe you will like it, maybe not. I think it depends on how long you have been with her, for one thing. you sound like you dont want to, so dont. I am a hairdresser--bad idea to do anything with your hair you arent ready for.

Depends, if you are not happy then you can't make anybody happy. There are hair places that have cybercuts , where they have a computer and can show you how YOU would look with a certain style, maybe you can try one and see yourself.

It's your hair and if you do not want to shave it then don't, you are the one that has to wear it, not her. Tell her that you will shave your head if she shaves hers.

First of all, don't change your hair if you don't want too, it's your hair and she will get over it. Second of all, it's hair, it will grow back fairly quickly so if you do want to try it and don't like it, you won't have long to wait before you grow back in. Good luck!

Don't change for her... because trust me if you asked her to drasticly change her look (Like say shaving her head...) I'll bet you she wouldn't do it!!
