Atheists..my question is can you as decendants of primates maintain a lengthened attention span ? If so..how long ? If you can go to such great lengths to prove u evolved from monkeys..etc. and there is no God...then couldst thou hold thy attention long enough to read thine own theories and objectively read as they crumble at your feet and prove in fact that there is our one God and the Lord Jesus ? If in fact your attention span is not so lengthy then fine...You still have my deepest respect and love..but if so...could you go to this link and read your own theories and get back to me? Are all evolutionists atheists? A fairly sweeping statement, don't you think? I consider myself a Christian, and I do not dismiss evolution. There is a huge amount of imperical evidence on the side of evolution, whereas there is only faith for creation. Believing in God and evolution are not mutually exclusive. I believe that at least some of the Bible is metaphorical - a way of explaining a complex message to people who education was very limited. Do not close your mind to ideas just because of dogma - God gave you the freedom to think.

I can see the guy's point here, but I think it's rubbish all the same. Why does the fact that an Amoeba is a less evolved life form mean that we can't study and learn from it? This statement is simply prejudiced, it's saying "All Darwinists have this Attitude", like me turning around and saying "All Christians blame Jews for killing Christ", just taking a stereotype and using it to make a flawed argumentative weapon.

Anyways, I can't prove to you that evolution created mankind, in just the same way that you can't prove to me that God exists. Sure you can pick holes in Darwinism, but I can pick holes in Christianity too, and have done. Picking holes in things is fun and (imo) productive, it forces people to defend their beliefs, which makes them think more about them and learn from them.

One thing I would say is that although Darwinism is an unproven (possibly unprovable) theory, Evolution itself is not. The process of evolution does exist and it does work, there's a whole area of computer science (Genetic Algorithms or Evolutionary Programming) dedicated to using the principles of evolution to solve problems. Banks use it to predict financial markets, researchers use it to design robots and develop neural networks. If you like I can even e-mail you an explanation on how you can use evolution to solve a simple problem...
