What would I need in order to live in the UK....?

My bf lives in the UK and we are thinking about getting married but I live in the US. So what are steps I need to take when and if this comes to pass? I want to know so if I do move there then I will know what I need to do. Thanks

First, you'll need a passport. Then you'll have to get ahold of the British Embassy or Consulate to find out about immigration information if you are thinking about getting married and also living in Great Britain.
