Why store they? USE THEM. in America people cook rice by boiling it in water, but if instead you were to fry diced onion in a little oil and then added the rice and cooked it, stirring it constantly until the grains lose their transparent color, then add the water, the chicken boullion cubes, salt, and slices of green pepper, the taste is really good. For every cup of rice use two and a half cups of water, wash the rice first. Cook covered at medium heat for like 20 minutes, when the water has almost boiled away cook for five more minutes uncovered.

Try cooking small sliced pieces of bacon until brown, remove from pan and set aside, cook diced garlic, onion and green pepper strips in the remaining bacon grease until onion looks transparent, add beef or chicken fajita stips and let it cook there until well done. Some people prefer to cook the meat in a separate pan, that´s ok, just use some kind of seasoning to the meat. Add salt and pepper. Take a flour tortilla (thin ones please) and fill with the fajita and veggies mixture, then add mozarella cheese and slices of avocado. What you get is a different type of taco. If you use an even larger flour tortilla you end up with a giant taco. This is a Mexican recipe from Monterrey. Enjoy it.
