If your main concern is taking pics, get the camera. Those camera-phones are never as good as a digital camera!

Don't get a phone because of the megapixels. It isn't like you are taking your real pics with it. That is what a real camera is for. Get one that is comfortable and easy to use, and has options that you want.

If you really want good photos, a full-feature camera is the way to go. The phones are fine for occasional shots of you & your buddies in front of the school (or whatever) but it's not a serious camera.

If you just want to take occasional photos of you and/or your friends, the camera phone is handy because it's likely to always be on you. If you're serious about taking a lot of photos and you want high quality shots (because trust me, camera phones are low quality), then opt for the camera.

it would be much easy-er to get a 5 to 7 megapixel camera. you would also get better pictures.

I really don't know and i don't want to know. The one peice of advice i can give you is that the more the merrier that's what i always say so get the 5-7 megapixels!!!

its better to get a camera thats 5+ mp. camera phones are horrible in quality.

Pictures from a phone are poor quality on a good day. They are fuzzy and poor quality.
Buy a decent camera, you will not regret it.

If this is going to be your main camera, please don't get the camera phone - you'll regret the lousy, small pictures for the rest of your life!
