In the Bible, in Revelations somewhere, I was reading and it was talking about how bodies would be on the streets for 3 1/2 days. ( As was Katrina) It also mentioned that God destroyed that city so it could start over, it also mentioned that nations everywhere would see it, well, CNN helped that, and it also said that in that same hour, an earthquake would occur, and in California, there was an earthquake at the same time......

And about the city being washed out, I'm a louisiana girl, born and raised, but i do know how N.O. celebrated, or rather praised mardi gras... and that holiday is not of God.

Man, that's really stupid. Everyone thinks their generation is dealing with 'revelation' type magnitude of tragedies. That's f ucking stupid. Everyone has to put more relevance on THEIR lives than anyone else's. Never mind the fact that most Americans are so ignorant as to think that the United States is the center of the f ucking universe. Look, bad things happen ALL THE TIME. Check your history books. Katrina was a paper cut compared to some of the other plagues, wars, natural disasters, and altogether bad crap that's happened in the past few millenniums. Get a grip already.

Katrina per se isn't in the Bible, but the circumstances, such as an increase in the frequency of floods, earthquakes, natural disasters in all the world is certainly in the Bible as signs the end is approaching, just as the increase in lawlessness, perversions, and wickedness that usher in these "signs" are predicted also.
The bodies that are in the street for 3 1/2 days are the bodies of the two witnesses. That is in Jerusalem, has nothing to do with a disaster of any sort. They are killed by the anti-christ and God will raise them up in front of everyone. You really need to read the whole book, not just parts of it.

You could take the same quote and add it all natural disasters that dealt with a flood.I lot of theories about revelations are that it was aimed towards the Romans. So go figure..is it about the end of the world or the end of an empire?Only God knows if the world will end and if it will.To keep guessing is a mute point and your time should be better spent.

Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven
These are the signs that we are warned about in the Bible. We are now living in the end times. Ready or not, Jesus is coming soon!

It would help YOUR case better if you could tell the chapter of Revelations you were reading. You know to narrow it down so some of us could get our own Bible out and check it out. Sounds like it could go either way though, because the book of Revelations tells of things that will happen, but then again, you could be looney.

No, that's concerning two prophets in the Tribulation period.
But the Bible does say that a sin of the end drawing near would be that the waves would be roaring. Luke 21:25

No.
Like Christians throughout history you are looking for any sign of the end times because for some reason people like you cannot wait for this world to come to an end.
Jesus said that the world would end during the life time of his followers (those listening to him at the meeting). This did not happen, they all died nearly 2000 years ago. The world will one day end, but not in the ridiculous manner described in the Bible.
Live your life and enjoy it, stop hoping for it to all end.

Your post seems to imply god is an american and only concerned with america. Did you also happen to read about the tsunami in south east asia? Or he's not responsible for it. If not your christian god is not the true god. Man, you jesus pushers are so lame!

Talk of the end-times has been around since the bible was written. Religions far older do not speak of such calamitous events, and if so, they speak of regeneration and renewal.
