yes, I completely know what you are talking about. It takes a looot of effort to find a great guy. and then you get him and ALL you worry about is keeping him. I am trying soo hard right now because I know for a fact he is one the best 2 % of the males species ever lol. .... =J

another reason I guess may be that all the good ones really are taken. It makes sense though when a girl gets one of those rare ones she will do all in her power to not let him go and share him with those girls who are still looking for the guys like him...

Well, I have been told by some, including my ex-wife, that I am one of those that women supposedly want. I am not much on looks, although I'm not a dog either, and I have found that most women don't even glance my way a second time as a general rule. Which doesn't bother me a whole lot, or at least it didn't, as I was more focused on raising my two sons. My ex-wife got caught up in some bad company, and decided that her addiction was more important than our two sons, her daughter (my step-daughter) , and myself. So, she went out to live her life the way she wanted to, while I finished raising our kids.
As a result, I have been off the market, so to speak, so I honestly haven't been too worried about what women thought too much. With our "baby" now turning 18, and about to move out, I find myself with plenty of empty time.
What all this is coming down to, is that the men you are looking for, may very well be busy living up to the obligations they already have. Or, you may be passing over them, as you get your head turned by the "hunks".
Look for the men that aren't afraid to hurt your feelings by telling you truths that you may not want to hear. A man that is willing to turn you away with a truth, instead of captivating you with a lie, is worth another look.
Good luck ....
