How would you like it if you wore a shirt saying "Jesus Saves" or "Jesus was right" and someone told you that you should change because they don't agree. This person has the same freedom to express their opinions and beliefs as you do. There are lots of us out there who don't believe in the Bible or the claims about Jesus. Some are getting tired of how vocal, intrusive, aggressive, and disrepectful people spreading their "good news" can be and are deciding its time to express the fact there is another side to the story. I happen to agree with his t-shirt but I would never tell someone in a "Jesus was right" shirt to stop being disrespectful to those of us who don't agree.

Nope, not wrong at all. Good for you that you're proud of being a straight man, Just know that by advertising it, you're actually asking gay men to hit on you.
As a proud/out lesbian, I have absolutely no problem at all with "straight pride" as long as it doesn't mean you're one of those homophobes who's doing it only to get a rise out of gays.
That's just ugly and mean. Who needs it?
But if you're just a happy guy who happens to like gals and don't mind the gays wearing their "pride" stuff, then go for it...
Have a blast!

I think a lot of gay people might take it as you mocking them. Straight people aren't the ones that get targeted and discriminated against, so why should they wear clothing that suggests pride. Unlike straight people, gays struggle with whether or not they should "come out," so wearing things that say gay pride is a huge deal for them.

It is wrong to wear a straight pride t-shirt because straight people are the majority power in the country and have rights that homosexual people do not have. Such as marriage, equal access to healthcare, employment, and the ability to be in the military. It would be equivalent to wearing a White Power T-shirt as a means to oppress other minority groups.

That depends. If you see someone wearing a t-shirt that says "white pride!" and aren't offended, then go ahead and wear your "straight pride" one. But if you find the" white pride" shirt offensive, you might want to think about the issue a little more deeply.

There's nothing wrong with it, but it's kind of pathetic. If you want to show straight pride, walk around holding a hot girl's hand.

It seems the gays are the only ones that have rights...the party platform for the Democratic party supports them. You're right, who supports those of us that are straight? It's as though it's a crime to be straight according to the gays. Wear it proudly, I say, it's a free country.

Nope. Not wrong, just ignorant.
Keep in mind that gay people are constantly being told they're sinners, or gross, or second class citiziens, or that they need to hide or be ashamed of themselves due to their sexual orientation. Straight people don't have to live with that sort of outside pressure.
So Gay Pride isn't about gay being better than straight, it's just about gay not being worse.
But wear the shirt, it'll let people know exactly where your mind-set is at!

I dont think so, and I wish straight people would really. Im bisexual and I dont feel the desire nor nessesity to brag about it. Id like to see straight people start having parades and tshirts and bumper stickers just so the "gay pride" folks see how rediculous they look.

I don't see anything wrong with it. You can be proud of being straight, just like homosexuals can be proud of being homosexual. Wearing a "straight pride" t-shirt is fine, it doesn't automatically mean that you're against homosexuals.
