jesus can not be proven to be the son of god---the only record of anything about him is in the bible--and men wrote the bible----men exagerate--men lie ---men will try to write seriously about things they don,t understand or are afraid of---a better question would be--can we prove that the bible is the word of god??--no we can,t --some people just believe it --and some people don,t---and yet--thousands of years later---when you question the bible or god---these people just quote from the book!!!! lol--alot of them can,t really think for themselves---and of course their religion is the only correct religion---everybody else is wrong or are interpreting it wrong--lol!!!---its called brainwashing!!!---god is inside of you--its not in a book or a religion-----be good to each other ----and -oh yeah!!--party on dudes!!!! ( bill and teds excellent adventure )

How do you know that Jesus Christ is true God?
Because the Scriptures clearly call Him God, teaching the following:
A.Jesus has divine names.
John 20:28 Thomas said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"
Rom. 9:5 From them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised!
1 John 5:20 He is the true God and eternal life.
Note: These names are not mere honorary titles but tell exactly who Jesus is, and they can be true only of God.
Jesus possesses divine attributes (qualities or characteristics).
He is
1. eternal (without beginning and without end);
John 1:1-2. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
2. unchangeable;
Heb. 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
3. almighty (omnipotent);
Matt. 28:18 All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
4. all-knowing (omniscient);
John 21:17 Lord, You know all things.
5. present everywhere (omnipresent).
Matt. 28:20 Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Bible narratives: Miraculous catch of fish (Luke 5:4-6; John 21:6). Jesus knows the name and character of Nathanael (John 1:48). Jesus and the woman at Jacob's well (John 4:17-18).
Note: See also Matt. 21:1-7; 26:20-25; Luke 18:31-33; 22:8-13.
C. Jesus does divine works (which only God can do).
1. He forgives.
Matt. 9:6 The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.
2. He created.
John 1:3 Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.
3. He will judge.
John 5:27 [The Father] has given Him authority to judge.
4. He preserves.
Heb. 1:3 [He sustains] all things by His powerful word.
Bible narratives: At the wedding feast in Cana, Jesus revealed His glory by turning water into wine (John 2:1-11). He rebuked the storm (Luke 8:22-25). He healed the paralytic (Matt. 9:1-8). He called Lazarus back to life (John 11:38-44). He rose from the dead (Matt. 28:6-7).
D. Jesus receives divine honor and glory.
John 5:22-23 The Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent Him.
Heb. 1:6 Let all God's angels worship Him.
Note: See Phil. 2:10; Rev. 5:12-13.

Jesus was the Son of Mary and Joseph, and though it states that he is "the Son of God" how can God give Mary his seed if he is not human? It's illogical. And yes, there are "miracles" as the bible states, but if it's the "Godhead three in one" (Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit) like some believe, how can god have himself? He even states that NO man can go without sin like God can. How is he man if he's "perfect" and God says man can't be. If Jesus was perfect, why did he always repent? Why would Jesus pray to himself? The bible is a bunch of contradictions that make no sense in my mind. That's just my input. It's probably incorrect and not what you're looking for, but it may help a little. Good luck(:

He didn't fail--they failed to see. They refused it. Many accepted, remember--thousands flocked to hear His message. He claimed to be God in John 10:30, John 8:44-58, then in the healing of the lame man when He said, "so that ye may know that the Son of God hath power on earth to forgive sins, Rise and walk." The reason this was said was because the Pharisees rightly deducted that Jesus was declaring Himself to be equal with God, since only God can forgive sins. Jesus did not correct this belief (which would be irresponsible if He did not think He was God) but rather reinforced His claim by the demonstrating of His power.

Well, I can't answer all of your questions, but here's one for you, why people from his own community rejected him. Think of someone today started going around, preforming so called miracles and claiming that he was the Son of God, and not Jesus. People would be very skeptical of that, and probably just call the guy a new David Blaine with an even larger ego. Furthermore, Jesus did often refer to God as his Father; such as the story of the merchants in the temple, when Jesus sees people buying things in the temple, he clears them all out and yells at them for doing such things in his Father's house.

John the Baptist actually heard God acknowledge Jesus as his Son. (Matt. 3:17; John 1:29-34) James and Peter testified that with a third companion they heard God repeat, “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved; listen to him.” (Matt. 17:5) Caiaphas (the Jewish High Priest) pronounced Jesus guilty because he admitted on oath that he is the Son of God. (Mark 14:61-64) Jesus’ bosom friend John wrote a whole book to prove that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and John was a witness of these things. (John 20:31)
As far as being rejected, the Jewish religious leaders did not appreciate being exposed for their lack of love and hypocracy. They did not want anyone to follow Jesus and on numerous occasions tried to have him killed, as well as those whom he had performed miracles on.
These are just a few reasons I believe Jesus was the Son of God.
As far as your comment about it being a "twist in story by Satan" Satan's goal is to keep people from learning the truth about Jesus.

Jesus asked His disciples who the people say He is and some said the messiah and others said a prophet and then He asked who do you say that I am? And Peter said that He was the savior, the son of God. Jesus did not reveal that to him beforehand, Peter knew by faith that Jesus was the son of God. So there is no way to know it by earthly means you have to believe by faith that He is. Once you do you will feel the difference in your life. Thats the step people find hard to take. They want to feel it then believe it. He wants us to trust Him and when we put all our trust in Him...then we will know in our hearts He is real. You are asking a question that has no earthly response. When you give your life to the Lord you know what i have said by following and listening and having doors opened in your life like you could never believe. I have never been happier in my life than now in knowing the Lord is real.
Jesus was not supposed to prove His identity to the community. They persecuted Him out of fear that He was something to reckon with. Jesus came to die for our sins and so He did not try to tell the community who He was. The people who believed in Him knew by faith and those who didn't spit on Him and cursed Him. He came to save all people. You want proof, try living one day for the Lord and see how your life changes...there is nothing to lose but one day. I challenge you to it. Live that one day by praising Him, sharing His word and walking in faith and I guarantee you will no longer need proof that the Lord is real.

Why do you need proof?
Seeing is not necessarily believing. Things of the spirit are confirmed by the spirit. Why not ask God for spiritual confirmation?
Just for your reference, at the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist, God the Father publicly declared "This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased." This also took place on the Mount of Transfiguration, but it was more private, with just Peter, James and John as witnesses. If a voice from heaven doesn't do it for you, I don't know what will.
Also, at Caesarea Phillipi, Peter proclaimed this to Jesus, in front of the other disciples, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.", to which Jesus replied "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my father which is in heaven." A short time later Jesus instructed the disciples to keep that to themselves for the time being.
The only time he came close to any kind of public declaration of his divinity was when he was asked by Pilate "Art thou the King of the Jews?" and Jesus replied, "Thou sayest".
Like I said, confirmation of things of the spirit comes by and through the spirit. Seek your answers from the Lord, not man.
Good luck.

Before Jesus healed the lame man, He forgave him of his sins, which outraged the Pharisees. So Jesus asked them, what's easier to do, say you forgive sins, or heal? Then to prove He was God, and had the power to forgive sins, He healed the lame man.
Paul, Peter, and John were a Jews, and they believed in Him.

True faith requires no proof, but go to www.jewsforjesus.com and check out the prophesies Jesus fulfilled as to be the Messiah. Ask Jesus to help you find the truth, he said that if you seek God with your whole heart you will find him, what better way to find proof than to ask him, the only one who can prove it to you. I can sit and give you all the reasons I believe and have become Christian, but you need to find yours, I can tell you this, if you ask him he will not let you down.
