If you planned it that is. Was the daddy there throughout the whole pregnancy ? When did you know exactly how many kids you wanted ?

My sis is 22 but had an unplanned pregnancy. She said that she wants to have *5* kids !!! :D 2 of my cuz's were prego really young. They're both prego again. One was 19 when she had her baby & has a 3 yr old now. She just had her 2nd baby on June 17th, another girl :) :o And I just remembered something !!! A cuz told me that my niece (who was born Feb 28th) was just staring @ her stomach !!! Do you think that babies can sense that there's a baby in there ? Or do you think it was just coincidence ?
The cuz who I was just talking bout had a baby girl when she was 17. Her lil girl is over a yr old now. Bout 16 mos old now, & her baby is due in either Aug or Sept.

I know that I'm not ready to have a baby. I'm not financially stable. I don't even have a bf nm ! lol.

My wife and I just had our first child (a girl) three weeks ago. I'm in my mid thirties and we have been married almost 6 years. We are financially stable, have a good relationship, and had been trying to conceive for several years. If anyone was ready, we were. This is all I can say, you are never ready, you just think you are.

You are never going to be ready to have children but if you do find yourself prego. Then you make the best attempt to raise and provide for the baby. I have three kids and been married for 9 years and we thought we were ready for the first one but we never really were. My kids are now 6, 4, and 2

I gave birth jan.2006 when i got pregnant we had talked about having children but had no idea she would come so soon... four years into the realtionship and i still thought i couldnt bare children hmmm! but it happened. Im 26 yrs old also and if im old enough to open my legs that I have to be ready for children...they are apart of sex...it happens. Her father is a great first time dad. we live together and hes a great provider as well as a stupendous companion i have been blessed but not everyone is so fortunate. Women have to be more selective as to whom they are giving themselves to that way there will be less baby daddys and more happy families....good luck sweety

I still don't know if I'm ready for a kid - and my daughter is 10 months old.

When we found out I was pregnant, we both were scared - what if we messed up? But once you hold that little baby in your arms, all of the fears float away, and they are replaced by excitement and wonder about all of the future possibilities. I mean, I could have the first female president throwing macaroni and cheese onto my freshly mopped kitchen floor!

The number of kids is up in the air. On one hand, we can spoil the hell out of one kid, but will she be lonely? We talk about it, but still aren't sure. I guess you know when you know.

As for him being there, yes - he was there from beginning to end, and I don't think he would trade it for the world! He went to every doctor's appointment, and was there for each ultrasound. And he was there for the entire birth. But I got lucky, having such a wonderful man to love us.

when you start having sex you have to plan for this eventuality.
No birth cotrol is failsafe.
If you wait tilll you are ready or financially ready, it will never happen.
I know somone who wanted 12, but after one decided 2 was enough.
(I still laugh about that)

there is no RIGHT time

ditto, never, there's too many already, get some good BC and stay on it for life, if you want kids do foster care and then adoption if you like that.
