sam-the-fam@sbcglobal.net, your condition might be as easily explained as keratosis pilaris, a skin condition that affects about half the world's population. Common contributing factors may be a Vitamin A deficiency, and/or dry skin. I am glad you asked this question because I, too, am affected by it, but never knew what it was called.

There are some fantastic medical websites below (particularly the last one), which should give "us" some direction on treatment, should you choose to go that route, although successful treatment is difficult and can be costly.

Do, however, go see your primary care physician or a dermatologist. In some instances, those bumps are indicative of another condition going on elsewhere within your body.

Peace and blessings!

Little pimple like things which are caused by your hairy arms being rubbed hairless by your t-shirt which you wear kinda tight. Most girls don't have them because we don't have hair there.

Its called prickly heat. You get it when your skin is dry, gets aggervated by the heat outside. Just keep applying lotion and try not to be out in the sun to much.

it's the result of dried dead skin cells collecting in the base of your hair follicles, and it inflames the hair shaft. to get rid of them exfoliate with a rounded pumice stone in the shower or bath everday, follow with skin oil, or cocoa butter when you get out.
