What am I missing?

Question

I prefer a man who is employed & not broke, b/c just having one of those qualities isn't going to cut it. He's caring, respectful, honest, loyal, and dependable. He's also creative, funny, not ignorant, talented, and ambitious.

He's of color, tall, not skinny and not unable to see his d***. He's beautiful to me and to others.

Is there something else to look for? Other than SMALL stuff?

Exactly...that's what I mean. Does this fool really exist. And I said of color, that can be anyone that ain't really pale.

I don't think you are missing anything. You seem like you know what you want. That person is out ther, some where. he might not be all those things at the same time, and then again he might be those and more. It is ok to have standards about what you expect from a male. That is great that you are not just taking anybody that comes along. Keep your head-up.

The problem with relationships is that we as humans view them like we view a house. You see we have this dream house and that is the only house that we want. You have to chck out the plumbing, eletricity, value, neighbor, etc... The one thing that you are forgetting is experience. Relationships are driven by our experiences we share, not what someone already has. Yes it is good for a man to have a job and caring. But what about a man who is in college and does not have time for a job? Would you still be willing to share your life experience with him? More often we are too superficial.
