Why do people tend to lie soo much on the internet?

It's hard to trust ANYONE on the internet mainly because of all the sexual predators and criminals online. Sometimes people may think that their own lives are boring and tell other people different things to make it sound more interesting. The only i lie is because of criminals and stalkers.

I think it is because there are no consequences to themselves.
