And I'm not talking about just bad beats. Ever get the feeling that the cyber-dealer only deals the good stuff to certain players? Or he won't even give you an ace after two hours of play? Things like that that makes you think if playing poker online really is legitimate.

Ok here is the deal, for the most part, No. i have played nearly all the best sites and still do the sites themselves are making more money than they can handle allready they dont rig the games at all,. BUT notice the big BUT, yes collusion is a problem in online gaming. For instance say u and two or three of your buddies wanted to make some easy money, all u have to do is sit at a 5 person table with 300$ each (example only) you simply play screwing around till till someone comes in outside the group. Then u all raise and reraise to get him in he might win a few pots but will not win cause he is playing 4 players colluding him. Then at the end of the day u r sure to be splitting all the loot 4 ways, this does happen everyday ive witnessed it. They usually are on the phone with one another or instant messaging one another so that they are aware of what the other has for a hand and can build a pot or fold accordingly.

I cannot answer for all poker rooms, but if that is what you are worried about, then you should try here:
Spin Palace Poker is part of the Prima Poker network where players from different poker rooms play against each other. It enables you to play against one or more players, not the dealer – there are NEVER house players in the Spin Palace Poker network. The network brings together players from poker rooms around the world.
You can play for fun or play for real money
If you decide to play for real money they offer a $50.00 free money bonus
This way you don't have to worry about a dealer for the casino "cheating you" out of your hard earned money.

I'd say when it comes to the hands you are dealt they are as random online as real life. A real life dealer in a casino is no more likely to randomize a deck of cards than a computerized randomize. Decent online poker rooms are randomly checked by independent agencies in the countries the sites are based.
