I was cooking hotdogs on tree branches over a fire. Well, my campmates came back to camp and laughed at what I'd done. They'd never seen someone put hotdogs on the way I had. I guess people usually stab the hotdogs in the middle. Well, I put the hotdogs on the branches lengthwise--like you would put fingers in a glove. : P

We were out "camping" in a trailer... My cousin and I spent the whole day fixing it up and making it look nice for the next day when the family would arrive.. Late that night we were fixing something underneath the "sink" and we heard a rustling.. so we were looking around all the cabinets to see what it was.. I opened up the fridge and this HUGE flying squirrell came rushing out and it smacked into my cousin and got caught in the curtains... it took us 4 hours to get the poor 'lil guy back outside... Then he kept trying to get back in, finally he got the idea and ran off to wherever.

Not funny but memorable, I went camping with my cousin (who is a fireman) and some other family members. I got cold during the night and decided to make our campfire really roar. Well I grabbed the lighter fluid for the coals and poured it on the fire. The dang thing exploded and the fire went about 40 feet in the air. The fireman cousin was running out of his tent screaming damn you Penny Rae you are going to start the whole forest on fire. I guess the flames were licking the bottoms branches of a dry tree.

that's actually how we always do it!
My funniest mishap was when I was alone sleeping in the tent and two young black bears literally tore their way into the tent! I got lucky, my screaming scared them away, but then I was so freaked out that I locked myself out of my car! I had a broken ankle from the bears, and wound up walking for miles to a road where I got picked up, full of self-pity, watching my back the whole way!

Went camping with the school it snowed heavy and the tent collapsed with the weight of the snow in the middle of the night. God it was cold!!!!!

hi i dont think ive ever had something happen at camp before except i went to boot camp and while we were marching some one farted and we started laughing and then we got in trouble by a di wich is a guy that yells at you at bootcamp

Played hide and go seek in the woods,,,,,,, well, we finished playing but one friend was still hiding...... trust me, he hid for a really really long time.
