Mac all the way. Better for graphics (I m in a design field) and NO viruses. Easier to use and maintain I think too.

Of all the computers I've used so far, the one I appreciated the most was the Powerbook G4. The first Apple computer I've ever used. It came with Mac OS X, very easy to use, intuitive, simple and pleasant. I would not say as much about Windows XP....
If you want to offer me a computer, I'll take a Mac thank you :)
Of course if you're a developer doing applications for PC users you just can't use a Mac for that.
It really depends on what you need the computer for.
If it's just to surf on the Internet, write emails, etc and type letters, a Mac will do, if you can afford it.

Most people would probably prefer Mac because they feel tied to their PCs and just don't like Microsoft.
However, there are many people also who prefer PCs. They believe that the software should be judged on its own merits and not by who makes it.
People often prefer the competition of Microsoft's products over the Microsoft products themselves. That is why Firefox, Google, iTunes and OpenOffice.org are so popular. In some cases the opposition can be just as heavy handed, for example, just do a web search for "Googleplex Dalles Oregon".

PC because they are more flexible and powerful. Macs might be slighty better for graphic design, but that's the only advantage. A Mac is like a PC with non-removeable training wheels.

i love laptop's larger (as in homestead windows). A homestead windows approach can do inspite of a mac can do, that is so a lot more effective drastically supported. in case you own a mac and your searching for a special software, its likely that there'll maximum proper be a version for homestead windows and also you're not any further waiting to apply it. There are virus's for Mac's (first got here across out 16th feb 2006). Mac and homestead windows function in the different case, operating example in case you're used to having a start up menu with homestead windows, you wont have one with a mac, which contain a lot less compatibility. i assume that is ineffective to have a mac OS until eventually your appearing some heavy video improving.

Pc, cuz i'm cheap. Mac software is expensive. Mac peripherals are expensive. Windows PC's have much more software avail, and a lot of it is free. The same hardware or software (if it's even available) for a Mac costs more - sometimes much more.
