Depends somewhat on the style of the Pasta. But I will go with a red sauce.

Wow that is a tough one. I guess it depends on my mood. I think red sauces are best when you have fresh tomatoes to make them, around late August to early September. (I live in Northeast Ohio) I only like white sauces on shaped pasta such as penne or farfalle. They are both really good though.

Depends. White if it's with a broad noodle and seafood, red if it's with Angel Hair pasta and a hearty meat.

Sometimes a nice Alfredo sauce with Cajun spices on cracked pepper fettuccine, or southwestern spices on chili pepper linguine.
