No, you cant love someone just after looking at them...
You need to get to know the person first.

This will sound like something from a politician because to answer that I'd have to come back and ask you to first define "love."
For the teenage girl that proclaims her love to Brad Pitt, her notion of love is probably exactly what some people mean when they say "love at first sight." So from her perspective, yes--there is love at first sight. It happened when she saw "Legends of the Fall."
On the other hand, if you're the type that has had a few years or decades under your belt, your notion of "love" is probably the kind that grows with time and doesn't even show up during that "first sight" of somebody.

Attraction at first sight, yes. Love ... yes/no. You have to really get to know a person before you can know you love them. Otherwise you're just going my looks and in 50 or 60 years they may not be all that attractive anymore. Then what?

I think you get an insane feeling with a person at first sight but until you know them it's hard to love them. Maybe you think you love them. What if the first sight it perfect but they turn out a psycho, annoying and unbearable?

no it takes a while to fall in love with someone b/c in love at first sight is seeing their physical appearence

yes i do believe in love at first sight because me and my girlfriend feel in love at first sight and now we are about to get married and we can't wait we are in love to this dsy and we will always be in love.

Well i didnt at first to tell you the truth but I learned this at my local community college here in gainesville,tx. In one of my classes that yes u can fall in love with a person in the first 9 seconds of meeting them! Pretty amazing ay???? check it out ~
