I don't have any dogs im euthanizing. This isn't a debate about whether euthanasia is moral or not. I am just asking how much they charge to perform the service on average.

depends...most charge by weight

and there is a different fee if you want a private or group cremation...or if you prefer to take your dog home for a family burial...

call some nearby vets and ask....

that's what we did......

All vets have their own fee schedule and it is based on the weight of the dog.
It seems to me, and I have X-lg dogs, that it runs around a dollar a pound. I'm sure they have a minimum charge though.

it is around 50 dollars here at a vet, that is with you there to be with them in the end. Myself I always took them to the woods out back for one last hunt. It is heartbreaking but I can't stand the looks they give when laying on that table at the vet.

It depends on the dog.And call some nearby vets and ask....

my local pond is @ $5 try yours but why would you want to do that? is the animal sick?

Plz don't kill it just take it to the pound and let somebody else adopt it.
