I dont mean a wish for urself, i mean as a whole. So wud u wish that ur people would live in an equlaity society? get higher welfare checks? be more interested in going to universities, etc..

Well I sure the hell wouldn't wisih to be white, everybody wants to be black until the cops come! We're not all on welfare you know, there are a high number of us interested in going to universities, and an ample amount of us already there and graduated. I attend a D1 university, no scholarship, I'm not on welfare, I have a car and I have 2 jobs THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I wouldn't change anything. Not even that people wouldn't stereotype us, then we wouldn't have anybody to prove wrong. So suck on that.

I'm black and at no time would I or do I wish to be white. I attend a University, and I am not on welfare. As far as equality, that wouldn't be an issue if there wern't people like you out there.

i'm not black, but props for an interesting question.
if i could wish for something... it'd be that people didn't think in terms of "ur people" or "as a whole" on racial terms.
why can't it be "as a whole" of humankind?
people in the ghettos -white, black, latino, asian have MORE in common than clumping people in racial/ethnic terms.
GAY people -white, black, latino, asian- probably have more in common than clumping people in racial/ethnic terms.
people in shitty schools v private schools
people with no family, people with no education
we all struggle differently and we all identify ourselves with a different struggle... if you think your struggle is being black, ask yourself if it's just about being black. or is it about money, about family, about school, about your neighborhood, about your diet, about your friends, about your outlook on life...
not all black people go through the same thing you do and there are probably plenty of white, asian, latinos who go through what you go through. don't wish to be white, BE what you think being white means... cause it ain't just about skin color.
